Al Scaramelli is based in Boston and manages Beacon’s facilities operations, environmental, and sustainability programs. In addition, he is a member of Beacon’s Capital Committee and certain tenant marketing and leasing initiatives. Before joining Beacon in 2009, Al was President of H2O Applied Technologies, a company that designed, installed, and financed energy and water conservation solutions. Previously, he was a Vice President of Development at Old State Management Corp. and Wheelabrator Technologies Inc. where he was responsible for the development of $1 billion in cogeneration facilities and other energy power plants.

Al received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, and a Master of Science and Doctoral degrees in Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. He is a registered Professional Engineer.
